I had a decent stay at the Claridge Hotel, though it certainly has its quirks. While the location was fantastic, just off Florida Avenue and within walking distance to many attractions, the hotel itself felt a bit dated and not quite up to the 5-star hype. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I did enjoy the breakfast spread, but the noise and occasional lack of maintenance were noticeable. Overall, it provided a good value for my stay. 😊

Rooms
6.0
My room was small but charming, featuring comfortable beds and clean linens. However, the heater didn't work during my stay, making it cold at night, and there were minor issues with the bathroom layout.
Service
6.0
The staff were extremely nice and welcoming, always ready to help when needed. Check-in was efficient but could be improved with more empathy, especially considering my lost luggage.
Location
7.0
The location is excellent, being central to major attractions and easy to navigate. I appreciated being able to walk to places like the Colon Theater and the Puerto Madero.
Dining
6.0
I found the breakfast buffet quite good with a variety of options, though it could have been more substantial. One downside was that some food items weren't labeled, making it a bit tricky at times.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers standard facilities like room service and laundry, but the Wi-Fi was occasionally weak. They could benefit from some renovations and updates in certain areas.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Claridge Hotel. The charming colonial style and amazing location made my experience enjoyable, but the hotel didn't quite live up to its 5-star claims. While the buffet breakfast was excellent, there were several maintenance issues and a lack of essential amenities that fell short of my expectations.

Rooms
6.0
The room was cozy with a comfortable king bed, but it lacked key amenities like a desk and had maintenance issues with the bathroom fixtures. The decor felt outdated, which didn't match the 5-star rating.
Service
6.0
The staff was warm and eager to help, though their availability was limited at times. I felt the check-in process could have been more welcoming and attentive.

The hotel's location was fantastic, allowing easy access to shopping, restaurants, and major attractions in downtown Buenos Aires, which enhanced my overall experience.
Dining
8.0
The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a rich variety of hot dishes, fresh fruits, and pastries, which I enjoyed every morning.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel offered some facilities like room service and a bar area, the infrastructure appeared outdated and in need of substantial improvement.

I recently stayed at the Claridge Hotel in Buenos Aires, and while the location is a major plus, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The rooms are outdated and suffer from maintenance issues, like peeling paint and uncomfortable mattresses. Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, I encountered several issues that overshadowed the positives, including annoying noise levels and a lack of adequate service.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were tired-looking with marks on walls and carpets, and the shower could have used an upgrade. The walls were thin, making it difficult to find peace and quiet, especially with the noise from adjacent rooms.
Service
5.0
The staff were quite friendly and tried to help, but there were instances where their response was lacking, such as regarding missing items after checkout.
Location
7.0
The hotel is brilliantly located in the center of town, which made it easy to access business and shopping areas as well as attractions like the Teatro Colon.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered was basic and could have benefited from more variety. I also found the dining service poorly managed, especially during an unexpected event that intruded on our meal.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt neglected, with a gym and pool area in dire need of renovation. Room service was slow and there were no adequate dining options available in the evening.

I had a pleasant stay at the Claridge Hotel in Buenos Aires, though it could definitely benefit from some renovations. The location was great, allowing me to explore many attractions nearby, like the Obelisco and Mercado de San Telmo. However, the WiFi signal was pretty poor in my room, which was a downside. Overall, it's a decent choice for the price and its central location. 😊

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and spacious, but could use more furnishings like a desk lamp or an armchair. The decor feels a bit dated, reflecting the hotel's vintage charm from years past.
Service
8.0
The service at the hotel was courteous and helpful. I particularly appreciated the friendly staff members, especially at the reception.
Location

The location is terrific, with easy access to various central attractions, shops, and restaurants. I felt it was ideal for exploring Buenos Aires.
Dining

The breakfast offered a nice variety, with fresh fruit and a good selection of dishes. It was a great way to start my day, even if it ended a bit early for leisure guests.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included a well-equipped gym and a clean outdoor pool, both of which I enjoyed during my stay. However, a tech upgrade is definitely needed for the WiFi and some other amenities.

Staying at the Claridge Hotel had its ups and downs. The staff were friendly and helpful, making for a warm atmosphere, but I found the hotel itself quite run-down and not deserving of its claimed 5-star status. The location was excellent for exploring Buenos Aires, but the rooms left much to be desired in terms of amenities and comfort. 😊

Rooms
6.0
The room had a comfortable king bed, but there was a lack of basic amenities like a desk or proper bath facilities. We experienced issues like a broken sink and a cold heater, which detracted from our experience.
Service
7.0
The service stood out as the best part of my stay. The staff were warm and went out of their way to assist, but my check-in lacked empathy, especially regarding my lost luggage.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located near Florida Street and Corrientes Avenue, making it easy to explore nearby theaters and restaurants in downtown Buenos Aires.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was a highlight with a fantastic buffet of hot and cold dishes, but I found the options somewhat mediocre overall during my stay.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some facilities, like a gym and a pool, but they were not well-maintained, which was disappointing. The elevators were slow and the equipment felt outdated.
